Deciding whether to replace your carpet with laminate flooring for your Los Angeles home or rental income property? Consider these 4 things before making your decision.
Welcome to our blog-space here at POLICARP. Let's start with introductions. My name is Claudia "Bunny" Hernandez, and I'm our humble scribe. You may note that I share Poli's last name: indeed, we are family! Poli Hernandez is my father, and I'm pretty excited to be training up under my dad since he has all the qualities of a great teacher: patient, flexible, expert knowledge. Let's get some formal introductions on the table!
Poli Hernandez has been practicing Real Estate in Los Angeles California for almost 30 years. As a Los Angeles REALTOR, he is definitely a vet--which is no small feat given that Real Estate in LA is a high-turn over industry unfortunately. Nevertheless, he has listed/sold hundreds of real estate transactions, both residential and commercial. Anyone working in Real Estate knows that no two transactions are the same: something is always new, different, even challenging. Based on sheer volume Poli has gained expert in-depth Real Estate knowledge. On top this, the fact that he is a real estate vet demonstrates the integrity and efficiency of his practice: anyone who knows about Poli knows that he is a straightforward, no-bs REALTOR, who has a super positive disposition. Poli believes in transparency, efficiency, and finding solutions. In his spare time he is an avid long-distance runner, cook, and family guy.
And I'm Claudia and have recently joined my father in Real Estate! I have had the good fortune of watching and learning from Poli my entire life. As such, it was just a matter of time before I entered Real Estate, though I come from academia. I find the Los Angeles Real Estate market fascinating given it's dynamic nature, both from short- and long-term perspectives. I am currently studying for my RE license, and in the meantime I absorb as my real estate wisdom from Poli as I can, keep my finger to the pulse of real estate dynamics by neighborhood, and immerse myself in blockchain and crypto space. In my spare time I am also an avid long-distance runner, I especially love trail running, I love working out and cooking healthy.
In the coming posts we will explore Los Angeles neighborhoods (urban-scapes like Koreatown and East Hollywood; hybrids like Silverlake, Los Feliz, Echo Park, Highland Park, and NELA in general; and gorgeous suburbs like La Canada, La Crescenta, Montrose, and (yes!) Sunland-Tujunga). In addition, we're going to talk about the intersection of Real Estate on one side, and blockchain technology and cryptocurrency on the other.
Thanks for taking the time, and welcome!
